		<description>Jennifer,
Equicaching LLC and Equicaching.com would NEVER send such an email and we agree wholeheartedly with your outrage at the actions of this other party. I am sure your friend ran into the owner of Equicache.us. Be assured, Equicaching LLC is fighting this trademark registration and the person behind it. Be assured, we are with you in agreeing this is a direct and blatant outrage for the spirit of geocaching... and equicaching and we hope you join with us in letting these people know just how misguided they are!</description>

<description>Hi. I write this hoping what I have been told us wrong but I am going to climb on my soap box. A good ruend of mine and fellow geocacher out up a page on her web site promoting geocaching on horseback. She got a nasty email staying that equicaching is a trademark term and she must remove it or pay a royalty. She has taken down the page and is not promoting caching via horseback any further although we do this regularly. How sad and blatantly asinign ! How out of line with the spirit of geocaching! How glad I am that groundspeak didn't trademark "geocaching" or there would be a lot of clubs, online sellers etc that contribute to the sport and community that wouldn't exist! I think this is sad and a blatant attempt to make a dime by excluding economic competitors in the field. You've lost a whole contingent of us and as a member of the Illinois horse council I will be commenting on this in our newsletter. I hope I'm wrong and hope to stand corrected

<description>Enjoyed this blog and was very suprised to see this. I hope to get into it a little this year. Off to your website. Oh is it okay to help out in promotion. Would like to blog about it, and include in my social bookmarkinging.

		<description>Glad you joined us!
Maybe I can shed a little light on the search function. Not all states or areas are represented right now, but we hope that situation changes quickly as more people get out to ride and hide this season.
First to see all the listings. Under LAYOUT, scroll down to LIST and all the Equicaches will appear. If you want to search for a state, click on the magnifying glass in the upper right of the left hand column and in the State field in LIST or Equicache view, put the two letter abbreviation of the state you want to view. Then click on the Perform Find box below. All the caches for that state will appear. If there are any! If not, please accept the challenge to be the first in your area to place a cache! Or, if you know of a geocache that is on a horsetrail, please let the webmaster know as well.
No checks, just cache!
